CM Punk Responds To Criticism That AEW's Tony Khan Is A "Mark"

"Aren't we all?"

While Tony Khan has achieved success in professional wrestling over the last two years with AEW, having established the second-biggest promotion in the United States, some only see the AEW president as a "mark" - more specifically a "money mark."

All Elite Wrestling's latest signing CM Punk has dismissed this criticism, though, simply saying, "Aren't we all?"

"I see a lot of criticism and I'm like if the number one criticism is, 'oh, this guy is a fan, he is a mark'... well s**t, aren't we all? You know what I mean? I'd rather have a guy who's a fan of it, sitting with a headset on and directing a show rather than somebody who doesn't like... there's good and there's bad and the good far outweighs the bad," Punk told Busted Open Radio.

Punk has been doing the media rounds ahead of his in-ring return at All Out on Sunday, September 5. The Second City Saviour is scheduled to face Darby Allin inside Chicago's NOW Arena.
