CM Punk Teases Bringing Back 'This Fire Burns'

Could CM Punk be set to bring back another of his former pro wrestling themes? 

The self-proclaimed real AEW World Champion took to Instagram this week and posted a photo of himself on the apron during last week's episode of AEW Collision. The music to the image is what attracted attention, though, as the image was joined by 'This Fire Burns' by Killswitch Engage. 

Punk famously used the song as his WWE entrance music from 2006 until 2011, when he transitioned to 'Cult of Personality' by Living Colour during the Summer of Punk. 'This Fire Burns' was also very briefly used by Randy Orton until it was removed due to "creative differences." 

Punk does have history of reviving old themes in All Elite Wrestling, having made his way to the ring to 'Miseria Cantare' by AFI for his Dog Collar Match with MJF at AEW Revolution 2022. Punk used the AFI song in Ring of Honor. 

Punk has been back on AEW TV since the debut episode of Collision in June and he is the top star of the Saturday night show.
