CM Punk Trolled With AEW Botch By Dominik Mysterio

Dominik Mysterio uses AEW to mock CM Punk

Dominik Mysterio had some fun at the expense of CM Punk this week.

The WWE talents are set to go one-on-one at two WWE house shows over the Christmas period, first in CM Punk's in-ring return on December 26 at New York City's Madison Square Garden. CM Punk vs. Dominik Mysterio will then take place again on December 30 at the KIA Forum in Los Angeles, California.

CM Punk hyped up the match during commentary for Cage Fury FC over the weekend, saying: "Come out to the KIA Forum, watch me beat up Dirty Dominik. I've been wanting to punch this kid in the face since he was eight years old. Now he's legal and I'm going to destroy him."

This led to a response from Mysterio a few days later as Dominik replied with a GIF of CM Punk slipping off the top rope and hitting a light punch on Austin Gunn, writing: "Punch me like this please... @CMPunk #bestintheworld."

The GIF was from CM Punk's last match in the KIA Forum where CMFTR (Punk, Dax Harwood, and Cash Wheeler) defeated The Gunns and Max Caster. Punk worked the match with a broken foot, having broken it during a stage dive moments earlier. He would spend two months out of action due to the injury, which resulted in him becoming more embittered towards Hangman Page.

Punk and Dominik have a history in WWE stemming from Punk's 2010 feud with Rey Mysterio. The Mysterio family was often featured in the programme, which included Punk singing Happy Birthday to Aalyah.
