One CNN panellist wants to see Hulk Hogan replace Marco Rubio

Could we soon have Senator Terry Bollea?
Florida Senator Marco Rubio has been selected as President-elect Donald Trump's nominee for Secretary of State, which will leave Governor Ron DeSantis needing to appoint a temporary Senate replacement who would serve until 2026.
CNN panellist Scott Jennings has encouraged DeSantis to select Hulk Hogan as Rubio's replacement, saying:
"If Marco Rubio does in fact become Secretary of State, we're going to need a new senator from the State of Florida, and we need someone with Rubio’s national security credentials. Now, there's one Floridian who can do it. He stood up to the Russians and the Iranians in the 1980s when he defeated The Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff, two of America's most lethal foes. He's a real American, he fights for the rights of every man, he knows courage is the thing that keeps us free. Ladies and gentlemen, I announce Ron DeSantis, get on it. Hulk Hogan for US Senate. And Chuck Schumer, what you gonna do brother when Hulk Hogan runs wild?"
Hulk Hogan has become a prominent voice for Donald Trump in 2024. Hogan appeared at campaign events during the presidential campaign after he endorsed Trump for president at the Republican National Convention.
If Hogan is interested in becoming a US senator is unknown. One WWE name who may be part of Trump's cabinet, though, is Linda McMahon, with reports noting she will likely be nominated by the WWE Hall of Famer for Secretary of Commerce.
