Cody Rhodes Addresses Brock Lesnar, New Matches, And More Added To WWE Raw

WWE’s upcoming episode of Monday Night Raw is looking to further the build to the 2023 SummerSlam PPV with the announcements of some matches and segments over the weekend. 

Last week, Cody Rhodes was on the receiving end of yet another beatdown at the hands of his SummerSlam opponent Brock Lesnar, who went as far as attacking The American Nightmare in front of his own mother. Rhodes has been advertised for Raw, with WWE revealing that he will be addressing Lesnar once again. 

In another segment set to build SummerSlam, World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins will meet in the ring with Judgment Day’s Finn Balor to sign on the dotted line in a contract signing, making their PLE title match official. 

Finally, WWE announced that Tommaso Ciampa will go one-on-one with Bronson Reed. The pair have built up some bad blood over the last couple weeks as Reed attacked Ciampa recently, helping The Miz defeat him. 

The updated Raw card is as follows;

• Seth Rollins & Finn Balor World Heavyweight Championship contract signing
• Cody Rhodes responded to Brock Lesnar 
• Becky Lynch vs. Zoey Stark - If Lynch wins, she gets a rematch with Trish Stratus
• Logan Paul returns 
• Gunther & Drew McIntrye face-to-face
• Bronson Reed vs. Tommaso Ciampa
