Cody Rhodes Comments On His Relationship With The AEW EVPs

Cody Rhodes may now be one of the top stars in WWE, but it hasn’t stopped him having a relationship with his former colleagues in All Elite Wrestling.

During his time in AEW it seemed that Rhodes was on a different page to fellow EVPs Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks, with Cody seemingly occupying his own ‘Cody-verse’ in storylines and on-screen. However on the red carpet for his new Peacock produced documentary, Rhodes revealed to Fightful that he still speaks to his former EVP colleagues ‘fairly regularly’.

The documentary features clips from The Young Bucks’s Being the Elite web series, of which Rhodes played a massive part, and ‘The American Nightmare’ added that without The Bucks’ signing off on the footage being available for the documentary then the film likely wouldn’t have happened.

Whilst they’re now on top of rival companies, Rhodes added that even if he never shares a ring with Omega or the Jacksons again that they’re ‘bonded for life’.
