Cody Rhodes Considering Bringing Back His Old AEW Theme

Snoop Dogg's remixed version could soon be out the door

The remixed version of Cody Rhodes' entrance theme could soon be no more.

The American Nightmare made his way to the ring at New Year's Smash to Snoop Dogg's remixed edition of 'Kingdom' and Cody has used that version ever since.

Many fans prefer the original 'Kingdom' by Downstait, though, and Cody gave those fans hope recently as he revealed on Twitter that he is considering reverting back to his older theme.

After a fan asked if he might bring back his old entrance music, Cody wrote: "Considering it - @MikeyRukus and I chatted on it this morning actually."

The former TNT Champion had used the Downstait song for the entirety of his AEW run before January 2021 and the rock band even played a live version for Cody's entrance at Revolution 2020.

If Cody will switch back remains to be seen. He wouldn't be the first AEW wrestler to change their music, though. Jungle Boy has started to come to the ring to Baltimora's 'Tarzan Boy' again after Tony Khan purchased the rights to the song. Best Friends and Orange Cassidy also now use 'Where Is My Mind?' by The Pixies while Jon Moxley headed to the squared circle for his match with Yuji Nagata to 'Wild Thing' by The Troggs.
