Cody Rhodes, Omos Added To Men's WWE Royal Rumble Match

Two more names have been added

The men's Royal Rumble match gains two more entrants, as both Cody Rhodes and Omos declared for the match during Monday's Raw broadcast.

Rhodes appeared in a video package training for his return. In the video, he declared, "At the Royal Rumble, I'm back".

Rhodes has been out since June, after being sidelined with a pectoral injury.

Also entering the Rumble is Omos, who made his first appearance for WWE since losing to Braun Strowman at Crown Jewel in November.

Omos defeated Elias in a singles match during Monday's Raw. His return was preceded by MVP announcing that the 2023 Rumble winner would defeat Elias tonight. Elias thought he was facing MVP, only for MVP to swerve him by bringing Omos out.

The current card for the 2023 WWE Royal Rumble, taking place at the Alamodome in San Antonio, includes the following:

  • Kofi Kingston, Santos Escobar, Ricochet, Austin Theory, Seth Rollins, Bobby Lashley, Baron Corbin, Rey Mysterio, Gunther, Cody Rhodes, Omos, and 19 more TBA - Men's Royal Rumble
  • Liv Morgan, Candice LeRae, Rhea Ripley, Raquel Rodriguez, and 26 more TBA - Women's Royal Rumble
  • Roman Reigns (c) vs. Kevin Owens - WWE Universal Championship
  • Bray Wyatt vs. LA Knight - Pitch Black match
