Report: New Game Mode Planned For WWE 2K23

New modes reportedly planned for WWE 2K23

With WrestleMania season on the horizon, so too will come WWE 2K23, with the latest instalment in the WWE 2K series reportedly set to launch in March.

Ahead of the supposed launch date, 2K will be ramping up promotion for the game, with Insider Gaming revealing that a WWE 2K23 reveal event is slated for January 28 in San Antonio, Texas - the day of the WWE 2023 Royal Rumble.

Interestingly, Insider Gaming revealed that as part of the reveal event 2K will be showing off this year’s 2K Showcase mode, as well as announcing a new game mode.

A second event will take place on Wednesday February 1, with 2K set to reveal more about the upcoming game.

The upcoming WWE 2K23 is set to be the 10th instalment in the series since the rebrand from WWE 2K14, with the series experiencing notable ups and downs, particularly the disastrous release of the much maligned WWE 2K20. After an 18 month hiatus following 2K20, WWE 2K22 released in March 2022 to favourable reviews.
