Cody Rhodes Provides Update On Torn Pec Bruising
A gruesome torn pec for Cody Rhodes
Jun 8, 2022
Cody Rhodes' bruising generated an audible gasp inside the Allstate Arena when it was revealed at WWE Hell In A Cell and it has only worsened in the days since the pay-per-view.
Rhodes has shared how the bruising has grown since he tore his pectoral muscle completely off the bone ahead of Sunday's pay-per-view on Instagram and in his final update "for a while" earlier today, The American Nightmare revealed the injury has become more discoloured and grisly.
Despite the serious injury, Rhodes wrestled in his main event Hell In A Match against Seth Rollins, with the former Intercontinental Champion's performance being widely praised both inside and outside of WWE. The American Nightmare would win the match following two more Crossroads and a sledgehammer shot to Rollins. Rhodes then appeared on Monday Night Raw and he was seemingly written off TV following an attack from Rollins.
Cody will undergo surgery on his torn pectoral muscle today and he is expected to be out of action for the next four to six months.
