Commercial Filmed For WWE 2K25

WWE's and 2K Games' preparations for WWE 2K25 are well underway.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, 2K filmed a commercial for WWE 2K25 over the past several days. Filming finished up in Florida on December 11. Who exactly will be appearing in the commercial is unknown.

WWE and 2K Games have been partnered since 2013 when 2K purchased the rights to produce WWE video games when THQ went bankrupt. WWE 2K25 is scheduled to be released before the end of March 2025 and will likely hit digital stores and physical store shelves during the build to WrestleMania 41. WWE's biggest show of the year will be taking place on April 19 and April 20, 2025 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Development is well underway for WWE 2K25. There was some speculation earlier this year about TNA talent potentially appearing in 2K25 but 2K Games would need approval from TNA Wrestling for that to happen, as well as a separate agreement with any wrestlers as talents in TNA are independent contractors.

Another pro wrestling video game on the market is the critically panned AEW Fight Forever. AEW CEO Tony Khan revealed this week that further updates were planned for the much-maligned title.
