Kevin Owens Reveals Why He Thinks WWE Is Hot Again

WWE is undeniably the hottest it has been in decades, with the promotion selling out shows and breaking records with each passing month.

The current success of the promotion is seemingly not lost on those employed by WWE, with Kevin Owens giving his thoughts on the current fortunes of the company during a conversation with Collider:

“It’s just really about how hard everyone’s worked for so long, and eventually, things kind of lined up right. People started paying attention more and realised the show’s pretty great. There are a lot of talented, hardworking guys and girls here, giving it their all every single week,” said Owens.

The former Universal Champion will be hoping to be one of the standard bearers of this current era when as he aims to topple WWE Champion Cody Rhodes at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 14, potentially with the iconic Winged Eagle at stake.

Owens recently revealed that he has all but given up asking Shawn Michaels to come out of retirement for a match, so if Owens does become WWE Champion don’t expect HBK to come knocking for a shot.
