Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo was stretchered out of a WWE NXT house show in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada, on Friday, October 16 after sustaining an injury.

A fan report on Reddit from the event noted that the main event of the show of Shawn Spears, Shiloh Hill, Tavion Heights & Tony D'Angelo vs. BirthRight (Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo, Charlie Dempsey, Lexis King & Uriah Connors) ended early after Stacks was injured on a back body drop from the ring to the floor.

WWE's medical team stretchered Stacks out of the arena following the injury, with Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer reporting that Lorenzo was transported to a nearby hospital. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer has since noted that the fear within WWE was that Lorenzo sustained a concussion.

Following the injury, the match was stopped and Shawn Spears thanked the fans for attending the show.

"Thank you for coming out tonight. Unfortunately things happen in this ring that are unexpected. You've heard us say 1000 times we’re one big family in WWE. You all are included and are a part of our family. When something serious such as this takes place it’s not easy. I’m sorry we had to end the night like this. From the bottom of my heart, thank you all for coming out tonight," Spears said.

The four babyfaces in the main event were then attacked by BirthRight, with the fans being sent home happy after Heights, Hill, Spears, and Tony D fought back to put Uriah Connors through a table.

Uriah Connors provided an update on Stacks on Saturday, tweeting: "My boys alive and well!! We can’t be stopped, last of a dying breed! Thanks for checkin on em, I got his ass."
