Cope Challenges Jon Moxley To AEW World Title Match At Revolution
Cope wants Mox for the AEW World Championship
Feb 2, 2025
Ever since returning at the AEW Worlds End 2024 PPV, Cope (formerly known as Adam Copeland) has had his eyes set on the reigning AEW World Champion Jon Moxley. On last night’s episode of AEW Collision, taped at the Propst Arena at Von Braun Center on Wednesday in Huntsville, Alabama, Cope made his world title intentions officially known to the world.
During a promo questioning Moxley’s current intentions, bigging up those from his own generation as paving the way for people like Moxley, and taking issue with the fact that Moxley keeps the AEW World Title locked up in a briefcase, Cope decided to challenge him to a match for the gold at the upcoming Revolution PPV.
Moxley has yet to respond to this challenge, though with no other potential challengers stepping up right now, this is likely set to be the bout at the PPV. Cope previously said following his return to AEW that he’d love an old-school style brawl with Moxley. The Revolution is set to take place on March 9 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California.
