Adam Copeland returned to AEW programming at Worlds End 2024 following his many months out with a broken leg, aligning with FTR to chase down The Death Riders, signalling his intentions to take everything from the group.

Copeland spoke at the AEW Worlds End post-show media scrum, and detailed his intentions in AEW going forwards, including winning several titles and highlighting some big matches he wants to have.

The Rated-R Superstar noted that he’d been cleared for a return to the ring for a while, but he had stayed home to deal with the fallout from the Hurricane in Asheville, North Carolina, explaining that his family had been brushing their teeth with bottled water. When looking ahead to his AEW run, he said that he and FTR would be gunning for both the AEW World Tag Team Championships and the AEW World Trios Championships, in addition to putting a target on Jon Moxley and the AEW World Championship. When it comes to Moxley, Copeland spoke on how he’d love a throwback-style NWA World Heavyweight Title style brawl.

It was also revealed that the upcoming Fight For The Fallen show was not originally supposed to be in Asheville, but given the events of the hurricane, Tony Khan decided to host the show there and donate proceeds.
