WWE called back to one of the most infamous moments of the Monday Night Wars on Tuesday's episode of NXT as Cora Jade put her NXT Women's Tag Team Title belt in the trash.

Jade and Roxanne Perez captured the gold only two weeks ago, defeating Toxic Attraction's Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne at the Great American Bash, but Jade turned on her friend last week, attacking her with a skateboard.

Jade explained her actions on Tuesday's NXT, saying that Perez proved their friendship was a lie when Roxanne decided to pursue the NXT Women's Title only minutes after they had won the NXT Women's Tag Team Championships together.

Jade then left the ring and said her NXT Women's Tag Team Title belt just represents that lie before she dropped the championship into a trash can below.

Madusa (AKA Alundra Blayze) infamously dropped the WWF Women's Championship belt into a trash can when she made her WCW debut in December 1995. Madusa has since been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame and she responded to Jade's angle on Twitter, praising the NXT talent and saying she is money.
