Cora Jade Returns On WWE NXT

Cora Jade is back on WWE NXT

Cora Jade made her return to WWE NXT on the April 4 edition of the Tuesday night show.

Jade made her return after Indi Hartwell's successful NXT Women's Title defence against Zoey Stark on Tuesday. Tiffany Stratton looked set to be Hartwell's next challenger for the gold after they had a staredown following the match but Cora Jade suddenly attacked Hartwell from behind and held up the NXT Women's Title. Jade then exchanged words with Stratton to end the segment.

Jade hasn't wrestled for WWE since an NXT house show on January 20 in which she lost to Roxanne Perez in an NXT Women's Title match. Reports noted recently that Jade was out of action with an undisclosed injury she suffered two months ago. At the time of the injury, Jade had been feuding with Lyra Valkyria and they were scheduled to face off on January 31. The match never happened, however.

Indi Hartwell has been NXT Women's Champion since winning a Ladder Match for the gold at Stand & Deliver on Saturday, April 1. Hartwell scored the victory with the help of Dexter Lumis.
