Noam Dar Returns On WWE NXT, Brings Heritage Cup With Him

Noam Dar is back on WWE TV.

The former NXT UK star had not appeared on any WWE programming since the UK brand shuttered in August 2022, but Dar was one of the few talents that WWE didn't release at the time. He then resurfaced on the April 4 edition of NXT, entering the ringside area through the crowd just as Dragon Lee vs. Nathan Frazer got underway.

Dar brought the NXT UK Heritage Cup trophy with him and cut a promo, revealing he will defend the trophy when he wants to. A clash with Dragon Lee looks to be on the horizon as Lee pointed at Dar following his win over Nathan Frazer. 

Dar was the reigning Heritage Cup Champion when NXT UK shuttered, having regained the trophy in July of 2022 from Mark Coffey. The trophy is defended under traditional British rounds rules. 

Dar has been a part of WWE since 2016 and was featured on 205 Live before moving to NXT UK in 2018. He also performed for ICW due to their partnership with WWE and he is a former ICW World Heavyweight Champion.
