WWE commentator Corey Graves was recently moved from the main roster to the NXT brand. This appears to have been part of a reshuffle surrounding the Raw Netflix debut, but it's not one Graves seems happy with.
Graves took to X/Twitter and expressed his frustration, referencing both his retirement from in-ring action in 2014 and his recent commentary issues. He said:
"Imagine chasing your dream. Then being TOLD (not deciding) that you’re no longer physically able to pursue your dream. Then you dedicate your life to something “dream adjacent” and being pretty f****** awesome at it.
"And then, when it’s time to enjoy the fruits of your labor, being told you’re not famous enough for your own job. Just in case you’ve wondered where I’ve been."
Mike Johnson of PWInsider has since reported that there had been rumblings within WWE over the past several weeks that Graves was unhappy about his positioning in the company.
The main roster commentary teams are Michael Cole & Pat McAfee on Raw and Joe Tessitore & Wade Barrett on SmackDown. Corey Graves has linked up with Vic Joseph and Booker T on NXT.
