Crown Jewel 2023 Advertising Includes John Cena

John Cena could be appearing at Crown Jewel

John Cena was only originally advertised for several episodes of Friday Night SmackDown throughout September and October, with the writer’s strikes giving the 16-time world champion some free time to make a WWE return, which has seen him involved with the likes of The Miz, Grayson Waller, Solo Sikoa, and more. However, it might be sticking around a little longer.

Saudi Arabia’s Riyadh Season social media accounts have been running some WWE Crown Jewel 2013 advertisements, with the company returning to Saudi Arabia on November 4th, and in promotional material the “participation of John Cena” has been advertised.

From an official WWE standpoint, Cena hasn’t been promoted for the event, nor has he competed at any Saudi Arabia WWE event in any capacity since the very first one - the Greatest Royal Rumble in 2018. It also emerged this week that the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns was set to wrestle at the Crown Jewel event, defending his gold for the first time since the SummerSlam 2023 main event against his cousin Jey Uso.
