Report: WWE To Host Stadium Show In Australia

WWE heading to Australia for a huge show

WWE have been running more and more international premium live events in recent times, with shows in 2023 emanating from the likes of the UK, Puerto Rico, Saudi Arabia, and Canada, and it looks like it will be the same come 2024, per reports.

Several sources including The West Australian are reporting that WWE will be imminently announcing a stadium show for Australia, which will take place in early 2024. A show at the Optus Stadium in Perth, Western Australia is apparently just days away from being revealed, and unlike a recent trip to India for the Superstar Spectacle, this event will be streaming as though its a premium live event - much like WWE’s previous trip to Australia for a show of this scale with Super ShowDown 2018.

WWE’s 2018 event saw Triple H and The Undertaker headlining the card. The capacity for the stadium in question is upwards of 60,000, so WWE could be set for a huge crowd. Rumours and reports of talks have been ongoing for some time now, and this seems to be the culmination of all that.
