A current champion within WWE NXT looks set to make their way to the main roster in the near future.

WrestleVotes has reported on WrestleVotes Radio that the belief within WWE is Sol Ruca will soon move to the main roster, although NXT will look to keep her on Tuesday nights for as long as possible.

"We are told there are several people within WWE, some with direct influence on the main roster, who absolutely love Sol Ruca and think the world of her potential. While those in NXT would like to keep her around as long as possible, there is a growing sense internally that her time on the main roster is coming and that she is more than ready for the challenge," WrestleVotes said.

Sol Ruca is currently a double champion in WWE, holding the NXT Women's North American Championship and the Speed Women's Title, although the status of WWE Speed is up in the air as the show has not aired on X/Twitter for several weeks.

Sol Ruca signed with WWE in March 2022, arriving in the company with a background in acrobatics and tumbling. She made her in-ring debut in June 2022 and has been a featured performer on WWE NXT TV since September of that year.

Other WWE NXT talents who could soon be on their way to the main roster are Ethan Page and Ricky Saints, with both wrestlers said to be "on the radar" for call-ups.
