A current champion within TNA Wrestling is only under contract with the promotion until the end of 2025.
Fightful Select has reported that TNA International Champion Steve Maclin's deal is scheduled to expire at the end of the year. The hope within TNA is that Maclin stays with the company, and the 38-year-old is considered a positive influence backstage and a student of wrestling.
Steve Maclin signed with TNA Wrestling in the summer of 2021, a few months after he was released by WWE. Maclin has been a featured performer in TNA ever since, and he previously had a 54-day reign as IMPACT World Champion in 2023.
Maclin became the inaugural TNA International Champion at Unbreakable in April 2025. He dropped the belt to Frankie Kazarian at September's Victory Road show, and Maclin regained the title from Kazarian at Bound For Glory on October 12.
Steve Maclin is one of multiple TNA talents with their deals expiring at the end of the year, including Mustafa Ali and Joe Hendry. Former TNA World Champion Rich Swann, meanwhile, is working for the promotion on a per-appearance deal.
