Joe Hendry Confirms His TNA Contract Expires In 2025

Say his name and he appears, but for Joe Hendry any future appearances may not be for TNA with the TNA World Champion’s deal set to expire in 2025.

The ‘Local Hero’ has had a whirlwind 12 months, culminating in a surprise singles match with Randy Orton at WWE WrestleMania 41, but what lies ahead for Hendry is as yet unknown, as he told Chris Van Vliet on Insight:

“Who knows what's gonna happen next. I'm in my contract year right now, it's a very exciting time. I'm doing my best to give my best to the performance, give the audience everything else and too enjoy it,” said Hendry.

Hendry is TNA’s most popular star, but they will have an uphill battle to keep him on their books, with WWE very obvious admirers of Hendry. Recent reports have suggested it is a ‘lock’ that Hendry will sign with WWE upon the expiration of his TNA deal.

Hendry is set to defend his TNA World Championship in a WWE NXT ring at Battleground on May 25.
