D'Lo Brown: Josh Alexander Is This Generation's Kurt Angle

"He’s this generation’s Kurt Angle in my opinion."

IMPACT Wrestling commentator D'Lo Brown has heaped praise on X-Division Champion Josh Alexander, saying his is this generation's Kurt Angle.

Alexander won the X-Division Title at Rebellion last month in a Triple Threat match against TJP and Ace Austin. The 33-year-old signed with IMPACT in 2019 after a number of years on the independent scene.

Alexander would face off against El Phantasmo at IMPACT Under Siege and Brown was licking his lips in anticipation of the match, especially because of the talent the current champion posses.

Brown goes as far to say, in his opinion, that Alexander is this generation's equivalent to the Olympic Gold Medallist, Kurt Angle.

Brown told Busted Open Radio: "Josh Alexander, which I am — I can’t wait to see this [El Phantasmo vs. Josh Alexander] play out because I just think those are two great and talented wrestlers and Josh Alexander is probably one of my personal favourites just because he’s like — he’s this generation’s Kurt Angle in my opinion. Just putting it out there."
