Damian Priest Signs New WWE Deal

WWE re-signs Damian Priest

Damian Priest won't be leaving WWE any time soon and the new World Heavyweight Champion has committed his future to the company.

Speaking with Cathy Kelley following the April 8 edition of Monday Night Raw, Priest commented on his new WWE theme and revealed he re-signed with the company earlier this year.

"Yeah, that's another first for me (being the vocalist for my new theme song). This has been already a great year for me. New contract. New title. New theme song, voiced by yours truly. Judgment Day's on fire," Priest said.

The terms of Priest's new deal were not revealed. After spending three years in Ring of Honor as Punishment Martinez, Damian Priest signed with WWE in 2018 and he was part of NXT, holding the NXT North American Title in 2020, until he moved to the main roster in 2021. Since then, Priest has held the United States Title and he is a two-time Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champion with Finn Balor.

Priest cashed in his Money in the Bank contract at WrestleMania 40 and defeated Drew McIntyre to become the new World Heavyweight Champion.
