Damian Priest To Defend United States Title On WWE Raw

A big challenge for Priest

Damian Priest's next challenger for the United States Title was revealed on Monday's edition of Raw from Columbia, South Carolina.

The 39-year-old went one-on-one with Shelton Benjamin this week in a non-title match and Priest swiftly defeated the former Hurt Business member in three minutes.

Following the contest, Priest cut a promo and noted he now wanted to face a challenger that was a world title-level competitor. This brought out former Universal Champion Finn Balor who accepted The Archer Of Infamy's challenge. They will face off next week in Columbus, Ohio.

Balor had returned to Raw earlier in the evening after a month away from TV and he teamed with Tommaso Ciampa in a win over The Dirty Dawgs ahead of The Blackheart's NXT match with Dolph Ziggler.

The Prince and Damian Priest have previously feuded in WWE and they clashed at NXT TakeOver: In Your House 2020, a match which Balor won. This came after Priest was revealed as Balor's mystery attacker from earlier in the year.
