Dangerous Tekkers are IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Champions once again.

Zack Sabre Jr. and Taichi's second reign as champions came to an end courtesy of Tetsuya Naito and SANADA only two weeks ago at Summer Struggle in Sapporo. Dangerous Tekkers immediately demanded a rematch for July 25 and the two teams faced off today.

Los Ingobernables de Japon and Suzuki-gun battled back and forth for 37 minutes and all four men in the match managed to connect with their finishers, but it was Dangerous Tekkers who came away with the victory.

Zack Sabre Jr. secured the win for his team after he countered a Destino attempt from Tetsuya Naito into a pin for the 1-2-3.

After the match, both teams respectfully jawed back and forth until a new team in Chaos' YOSHI-HASHI and Hirooki Goto entered the ring and added their names to the tag team title picture. How NJPW plans to address the new situation remains to be seen.

With today's victory, Dangerous Tekkers begin their third reign as IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Champions. They previously held the title belts for 176 days from July 2020 until night one of Wrestle Kingdom 15 on January 4, 2021, when they dropped the gold to Guerrillas Of Destiny. ZSJ and Taichi would then defeat Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa for the championship on June 1 and hold the gold for just over a month until their aforementioned loss at Summer Struggle in Sapporo.
