Danhausen Receiving Title Shot At AEW Fight For The Fallen

Can Danhausen reign supreme at AEW Fight for the Fallen 2022?

Could Danhausen be the next FTW Champion? Well if things go his way at AEW Fight for the Fallen then he just might be… hausen.

As seen at AEW: Dynamite Fyter Fest 2022 Week Two, FTW Champion Ricky Starks defeated Cole Karter (fka Troy ‘Two Dimes’ Donovan in NXT 2.0) then threw out an open challenge, which Danhausen graciously accepted. Danhausen wanted the match there and then, but Starks said he needs to rest up, and will put the belt on the line at Fight for the Fallen on July 27.

This will be Danhausen’s first title match since arriving in AEW in January 2022, with the cult star not making his in-ring debut until May.

Starks has held the FTW Championship for over a year, after defeating former Team Taz associate Brian Cage for the belt at Fyter Fest 2021. An unsanctioned title in both AEW and ECW, there have been four FTW Champions in history, with Cage and Starks following in the footsteps of Sabu, and original holder Taz.
