Daniel Bryan Hoping WWE Will Allow Him To Wrestle For Other Companies

Wrestling at a CMLL Anniversary Show is a dream of his

Daniel Bryan recently revealed that his WWE contract is up "relatively soon" and The American Dragon noted he is still trying to figure out what he is going to do.

The former WWE Champion is hoping his current employers will allow him to wrestle for other companies, though, and Bryan admitted during a WrestleMania 37 meet and greet that's he's trying to convince WWE to let him do so.

Bryan said: "It'd be interesting if I could wrestle in different companies and WWE. That's something I'm trying to weasel my way into right now. [laughs]"

One company Bryan would seemingly love to wrestle for is CMLL. The American Dragon has previously voiced his admiration for Lucha Libre and he told Super Luchas back in January that he wants to wrestle at a CMLL Anniversary Show.

"Something I always wanted to do in my career but never did is be part of the CMLL Anniversary Show. So I think I'm going to try to convince WWE to let me go," he said.
