Daniel Bryan-Jey Uso Steel Cage Match Added To Next Week's WWE SmackDown

The match will have Fastlane implications

On Friday night's edition of WWE SmackDown, Daniel Bryan battled Jey Uso in a match where if Bryan won, he would earn a shot at Roman Reigns' Universal title at Fastlane on March 21. However, the match ended in a double countout.

On Saturday's episode of Talking Smack, Bryan joined the panel, and struck up a deal with Reigns' manager Paul Heyman.

Heyman offered Bryan another match against Uso for next week's SmackDown, with the same stipulation in play. To up the ante, Bryan requested that the match take place inside of a steel cage. Bryan has also vowed that if he doesn't win, he will formally acknowledge Reigns as "Tribal Chief".

Heyman then received a text message from Reigns, accepting Bryan's suggestions.

Bryan won a six-man Elimination Chamber match at Sunday's pay-per-view, earning him a shot at Reigns' Universal title for the same night. The match took place immediately following Bryan's Chamber win, and Reigns demolished him in 90 seconds.

The WWE Fastlane pay-per-view takes place on Sunday, March 21. No matches have been announced for the event as of yet.
