Daniel Bryan Returning To WWE SmackDown Tonight

Who he will be feuding with remains to be seen...

Daniel Bryan hasn't been seen on Friday Night SmackDown since June 12 when he was defeated by AJ Styles in the Intercontinental Championship Tournament.

The Leader of the Yes Movement took some time away from TV ahead of the birth of his second child, but he has remained busy backstage and was reportedly behind the brief pushes of Gran Metalik, Lince Dorado, Drew Gulak and Shorty G in July. Past reports have also noted The American Dragon holds "significant creative influence" on Friday nights.

Following his four-month hiatus, Bryan is set to return tonight on the season premiere of SmackDown. Who the five-time world champion will be feuding with remains to be seen, though.

Also advertised for the season premiere of SmackDown is Lars Sullivan vs. Jeff Hardy, The New Day vs. Shinsuke Nakamura, Cesaro & Sheamus, The Street Profits vs. Robert Roode & Dolph Ziggler for the SmackDown Tag Team Championship and a Universal Title match between Roman Reigns and The Monster Among Men Braun Strowman.
