Daniel Garcia Expected To Stay With AEW

AEW expected to retain Daniel Garcia’s services

Daniel Garcia recently returned to All Elite Wrestling, but despite a return indicating he is sticking with the company, Garcia is yet to sign a new contract with the promotion.

AEW are believed to have offered a big money deal to Garcia, and writing in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer states that many in AEW believe Garcia will be re-signing with the company.

Garcia is in-line for a push within AEW, with a singles match against MJF booked for All Out on September 7. With the high profile return at All In Wembley Stadium, and the angle with MJF on the August 28 edition of AEW Dynamite, those close to the situation have relayed to Meltzer and his team that they expect Garcia to remain ‘All Elite’.

‘Red Death’s current AEW deal is believed to be expiring in October, with Garcia believed to have considered a potential jump to WWE, with WWE believed to have held an interest in signing Garcia.

Currently reigning as the PWG World Champion, Garcia has been with AEW since 2021, after making his debut a year prior. In AEW, Garcia has been with the Jericho Appreciation Society, and has reigned as the Ring of Honor Pure Champion.
