AEW Backstage Reaction To Daniel Garcia's All In Return

Reaction to Daniel Garcia’s AEW All In return revealed

Daniel Garcia recently made his return to All Elite Wrestling, making an unannounced appearance at All In on August 25 to thwart MJF in his unsuccessful American Championship defence against Will Ospreay inside Wembley Stadium.

The two are set to feud going forward, with Garcia jumping MJF on the August 28 edition of Dynamite after MJF ran down ‘Red Death’ on the mic. A report from Fightful Select suggests that those backstage in AEW have been ‘very happy’ with Garcia’s work since returning.

Garcia was written off AEW TV by MJF in the build to All In, with Garcia in the midst of contract renegotiations with the company. The angle was set up as to permanently write-off Garcia in case he decided to leave AEW, with many taking his recent appearances as a sign that he is set to continue with the promotion.

Despite his appearances at All In and Dynamite, and with a planned singles bout against MJF at All Out on September 7, Garcia is yet to sign a new deal with AEW, and there’s been no update on his status. Garcia is believed to be contracted to AEW until October 2024.
