Dante Martin Joins Team Taz On AEW Dynamite

Dante Martin's allegiances continue to change.

Following brother Darius' injury earlier this year, Dante aligned himself with Matt Sydal and the two men continued to team together until October, when Martin joined forces with Lio Rush.

Dante then enjoyed success alongside The Man Of The Hour, picking up wins over former mentor Matt Sydal in singles and tag team action before a win over The Acclaimed last week. 

Team Taz have courted Martin in recent weeks, though, and Dante has seemingly had his head turned as he signed with the faction on Wednesday's episode of Dynamite. 

Taz's group presented Dante with an official contract during a backstage segment and Lio Rush was about to reject the offer on behalf of his client, but Martin prevented him from doing so and signed the deal before the NJPW star could say another word. 

Martin then left with his new allies, much to Lio Rush's dismay. 

Dante's decision also appears to have left his brother Darius unimpressed as he tweeted a reversed FTW logo of "WTF." The older member of Top Flight has spent much of 2021 on the shelf with an ACL injury.
