Dante Martin Returns On AEW Collision
Dante Martin is back on AEW TV
The return of CM Punk wasn’t the only professional wrestling comeback which happened last night, as Dante Martin made his AEW return after nearly 9 months away. Martin previously suffered a scary leg injury during the ROH World Tag Team Title “Reach For The Sky” ladder match at Supercard of Honor back in March when he came crashing down on the floor with his leg looking to snap and bend horrifically.
During a backstage interview segment on AEW Collision last night, Darius Martin and Action Andretti were cutting a promo about heading to Martin’s hometown this Wednesday on Dynamite, but noted that something was missing. Dante Martin appeared on frame, said he was back and ready to “take flight” (he and Darius Martin’s tag team is called Top Flight).
During Dante Martin’s absence, Darius Martin and Andretti have teamed up regularly across ROH and AEW programming. No match has been announced as of yet for the trio or even just the duo of Top Flight, but it seems likely that something will be announced soon based on this segment.
