The reports and news on the status of AEW’s roster ahead of the brand-new two-hour Collision show debuting next month has gone back and forth in recent weeks and months. It seems as though no decision has yet been made on whether to go forth with a hard or soft brand split, though there is one wrestler on AEW’s roster who is more in favour of a harder split.

Darby Allin was speaking with Shakiel Mahjouri for ET Canada and discussed the potential plans for AEW Collision and how he would prefer things to go when it comes a brand split.

"I'm excited because if it is a hard brand split where there is a 'Dynamite' and a 'Collision,' it gives people more opportunity to be seen. With our roster, that's all you can ask for. It's a loaded roster with a lot of hungry people. Bring it on. It would be so fun to me."

There are still no updates when it comes to a brand split for AEW, though returning names such as Miro, Thunder Rosa, Scorpio Sky and Andrade El Idolo have all been officially announced for the show. It's unclear whether they will be Collision-exclusive talents.
