Nov 17, 2024
AEW’s annual special edition of Dynamite, Winter Is Coming, is officially returning for the fifth year in a row, as officially announced during last night’s November 16 edition of AEW Collision.
It was revealed that on December 11 at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri, AEW Dynamite: Winter Is Coming would be making its return. This show has seen some very notable moments across the years, such as Sting’s iconic AEW debut, Kenny Omega turning heel and defeating Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship, Adam Page & Bryan Danielson wrestling to a sixty-minute time limit draw over the AEW World Title, among other big matches and moments. Last year, both Rampage & Collision were held under the Winter Is Coming banner, but this far it isn’t known if that will continue for the 2024 edition. The poster for the event sees names such as Jon Moxley, Mariah May, Darby Allin, Bobby Lashley, and Mercedes Mone featured.
AEW will also be heading to Washington, DC for the December 18 episode of Dynamite, though there are no current plans revealed for the episode of Dynamite which is set to air on Christmas Day.
