Davey Boy Smith Jr. Open To WWE Return
A return would depend on how WWE would use him
Former WWE star Davey Boy Smith Jr., who wrestled for the company as Harry Smith and David Hart Smith, has claimed he would be open to a return under the right circumstances.
The son of the late, great Davey Boy Smith (AKA WWE Hall of Famer The British Bulldog) worked for Vince McMahon between 2006 and 2011, winning the Tag Team Titles on one occasion (alongside Tyson Kidd).
He re-signed with WWE in July of last year, but was released in November having not appeared on television during that time.
Speaking with Straight Talk Wrestling Podcast, Smith discussed the possibility of going back to WWE, saying:
"If there's an opportunity to go back to WWE, if there's an actual direction for me, then I think that there's still some — definitely some mileage and some great stuff that they can do with me there and I would like to just — sometimes, gotta be the right timing".
He noted during the interview that he was actively looking to work in Japan once again. Since his WWE release Smith has been working for the NWA and recently won the Crockett Cup (alongside Doug Williams).
