DDP Thinks Dominik Mysterio Should Be Booked Like The Rock
Time to push Dominik Mysterio to the moon?
WWE should take a similar approach to how they booked The Rock at the start of his career when it comes to their current booking of Dominik Mysterio, according to Diamond Dallas Page.
The WWE Hall of Famer made the comments during a recent edition of the DDP Snake Pit podcast, noting that the company could capitalise on fan sentiment that Dominik doesn't 'deserve' his spot.
"If I was booking, I would have Dominik beat anyone that he gets in front of. Because if you push him like that, they [the fans] are going to hate him even more. A la The Rock. Remember when they gave him that big push as Rocky Maivia? People hated him! [Now] Rock is the most beloved human being on the planet right now. He's not the People's Champion, he's the World's Champion.
"When you're pushing someone in wrestling that fans don't think should be pushed, it gets that other level of heat…He doesn't need to say anything and they go crazy".
WWE clearly have significant plans for the 25-year-old,as evidenced by his victory over AJ Styles on this past Monday's episode of Raw.
