AEW head Tony Khan has opened up on the future of Ring of Honor, noting that a decision on the company's direction and TV situation will be made after this year's Final Battle pay-per-view.

Khan made the comments during a pre-Full Gear media call, adding that he remains high on ROH, citing recent title matches and their success on pay-per-view this year.

In response to ROH World Tag Team Champions FTR not being on the Full Gear card, Khan said he believed there was more opportunity for more AEW and ROH content to help showcase them and other members of the roster.

Khan also mentioned that ROH Women's World Champion Mercedes Martinez was cleared to return from injury on Wednesday.

Ring of Honor has been a consistent presence on AEW programming in recent times, with matches and storylines revolving around its championships littering Dynamite and Rampage. Chris Jericho won the ROH World Title from Claudio Castagnoli on the Grand Slam edition of Dynamite (on September 21).

Final Battle takes place on December 10. No matches have been announced for the show thus far.
