Dennis Rodman To Appear On AEW Collision

Dennis Rodman returning to the United Center for AEW Collision

You didn’t expect to tick this one off your professional wrestling 2023 bingo card. Former NBA five-time champion and WCW alumni Dennis Rodman will be making a comeback to professional wrestling later this Saturday night as makes his AEW debut on the September 2nd edition of Collision. 

It was announced on AEW’s social media platforms that Rodman would be on the show, with it being billed as him “returning to the United Center”. What Rodman will be doing hasn’t yet been made clear. Back in WCW, he cameoed in the company, joining the nWo as a celebrity member. He would also wrestle three tag team matches alongside nWo leader Hulk Hogan, facing the likes of Diamond Dallas Page, Lex Luger, and The Giant. Rodman would go on to have one singles match, facing Randy Savage at Road Wild 1999.

Rodman is in Chicago for All Out weekend as he will appear at Starrcast VI. 

The updated line-up for Collision now looks like this; 

  • The Acclaimed (c) vs. Daniel Garcia & 2.0 - AEW Trios World Championships
  • Dax Harwood vs. Jay White
  • The Outcasts vs. Britt Baker, Hikaru Shida, & Kris Statlander
  • Ricky Starks challenges Ricky Steamboat to an All Out strap match 
  • Dennis Rodman appears
