Deonna Purrazzo Wins ROH Women's Championship On IMPACT

Purrazzo is a double champion once again

Last night’s edition of IMPACT Wrestling saw Deonna Purrazzo defeat Rok-C to become the new ROH Women’s World Champion.

A winner takes all match with Purrazzo’s AAA Reina des Reinas title also on the line, Rok-C put on a spirited display, but was ultimately outwrestled by the veteran Purrazo, who got the win with a brutal looking Venus de Milo.

This is the second time in 12 months that Purrazzo has been a double champion, with her AAA win coming when she was also in possession of the IMPACT Knockouts Title, before dropping it to Mickie James.

Rok-C was the inaugural ROH Women’s World Champion, winning the belt in September 2021 when the division was relaunched. Rok-C successfully defended the title against the likes of Holidead, Willow, and Trish Adora amongst others, with Purrazzo coming out to confront the champ after her defence at ROH Final Battle in December 2021.

Purrazzo didn’t have time to celebrate with her titles though, as ROH’s Maria Kanellis made her presence felt in the ring, informing ‘The Virtuosa’ that the title was hers, before ROH renegades OGK, Vincent, and PCO appeared, brawling down Matt Rehwoldt, Willie Mack, and Chris Bey.
