Report: Elimination Chamber Planned For WWE's Next Saudi Arabia Show
The next Saudi show is rumoured for February 19
Reports emerged recently that WWE’s next trip to Saudi Arabia could occur on Saturday February 19. Now new reports suggest that WWE might be hosting an Elimination Chamber match at the as yet un-announced event.
The report comes courtesy of Fightful Select, who state that ‘the working plan is for the Elimination Chamber match and structure to take place at the February Saudi Arabia show’. The report goes on to say there is no word on if the Saudi show will use the Elimination Chamber name, or will be called something else entirely.
Fightful’s report continues, saying that rumblings of the Chamber being used in Saudi Arabia have been ongoing since the Crown Jewel event in November 2021, with discussions at the time hinting that WWE may possibly film an episode of WWE TV in Saudi Arabia at some point in the future, but these remain rumours.
The plans for the Chamber make sense, as the majority of Elimination Chamber matches have occurred in February. There is no indication yet if WWE plan on hosting just the one Chamber match in Saudi Arabia, or if there are multiple bouts planned for the imposing structure.
