Details On 2019 King Of The Ring Tournament, Which Begins Tonight On WWE Raw

Who will reign supreme?

WWE sent out the following press release on Monday concerning the 2019 King of the Ring tournament:

"WWE’S KING OF THE RING TOURNAMENT RETURNS TO MONDAY NIGHT RAW TONIGHT ON USA NETWORK

Known as one of the greatest tournaments in WWE history, King of the Ring will feature sixteen WWE Superstars from Raw and SmackDown Live as they compete to become in-ring royalty, beginning tonight at 8/7C on USA Network.

The highly anticipated first round will kick-off tonight with Cesaro facing Samoa Joe and Cedric Alexander competing against Sami Zayn. The winners will continue on to the next round, facing off against the winners of next week’s matches.

The winner of this intensely competitive tourney will join the likes of Harley Race, Bret “Hit Man” Hart, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, Booker T, Kurt Angle, Triple H and Brock Lesnar as bearers of the King of the Ring crown.

On air for more than 26 years, Monday Night Raw is broadcast live every Monday night on USA Network and is the longest running weekly episodic television show in U.S. primetime history with 1,368 episodes."
