Details On Miro's AEW Contract

"The Best Man" debuted a week and a half ago...

Miro has been revealed as "The Best Man" in more than one sense in All Elite Wrestling, and he apparently has a contract that backs up his "best man" standing.

A recent report from Fightful confirmed that Miro has a long-term contract with AEW, with an option in place to possibly extend the deal.

Sean Ross Sapp writes, "AEW sources have confirmed that Miro, the former Rusev, does have a contract with the company. Fightful has learned that talks have been ongoing for quite a while, and we were told that the deal was "long term pending an option on the deal." The contract does allow for Miro to work New Japan Pro Wrestling and some independent dates, but prohibits other American televised dates, so New Japan USA would be off the table."

It's not clear if enacting the option is up singularly to AEW or Miro, or if the option is a mutual one.

Miro debuted on the September 9 edition of AEW Dynamite, revealed as the best man for Kip Sabian and Penelope Ford's wedding. "The Best Man" nickname will extend beyond the wedding angle, with Chris Jericho saying it's in a similar vein to a name like "Mr. Perfect".
