Documentary On Edge's Comeback Airing On WWE Network Following WrestleMania 36

An in-depth look at an inspiring return...

WWE Network News has reported that an upcoming edition of WWE's "24" documentary series will focus on the return to wrestling of Edge.

WWE 24: Edge: The Second Mountain is set to premiere Sunday night, April 5, on WWE Network, immediately following the conclusion of WrestleMania 36.

The multi-time WWE and World Heavyweight champion was forced to retire from wrestling at the age of 37 in April 2011, following a diagnosis of spinal stenosis. At the time, Edge held the World Heavyweight championship, and was forced to vacate it.

Edge was reportedly medically cleared for a return to the ring in the fall of 2019. He demonstrated an ability and willingness to get physically involved again at August's SummerSlam, where he hit Elias with his trademark spear.

After weeks and months of speculation, Edge returned during the 2020 Royal Rumble match, in a highly-emotional scene. He made three total eliminations and lasted almost 24 minutes before finishing in third place.

Edge takes on Randy Orton in a Last Man Standing match at WrestleMania 36.
