Ric Flair Claims The Rock, WWE Are Collaborating On Biopic Of His Life

Is the story of "The Nature Boy" coming to the silver screen?

His story has been told in biographies, documentaries, and through many first and second-hand tales. If "The Nature Boy" is to be believed, film is next.

Ric Flair appeared this week with hosts Dave LaGreca and Mark Henry on Sirius XM's Busted Open Radio, where Flair's lengthy and celebrated career were discussed. In the midst of the talk, after Henry discussed the sheer magnitude of Flair's career and achievements, the 16-plus-time World champion responded with claims that a movie about his life is on the way, with some familiar collaborators.

Said Flair, “I’ve talked to Dwayne [Johnson] and Dany Garcia and Hiram Garcia and they’re gonna collaborate for all this stuff and make a movie with the WWE with me, with Sue Levinson, who now is with WWE and is doing a fabulous job, and Sue’s got a great background. As soon as everything gets rolling again, I’m going to make that movie."

The Rock previously helped produce Fighting With My Family, the story of WWE star Paige, though his company, Seven Bucks Productions.

The ESPN 30 for 30 special, "Nature Boy", about Flair's life and career, re-airs Sunday afternoon at 5:30 PM EST, preceding the encore of WrestleMania 32.
