Dolph Ziggler Expected To Sign With AEW

Dolph Ziggler expected to join AEW

Dolph Ziggler looks to be AEW-bound.

AEW CEO Tony Khan announced on Wednesday night that the promotion "agreed to terms with one of the world's best wrestlers" and they will sign their contract in Los Angeles on Saturday, November 18 at the Full Gear pay-per-view. Speculation has been in overdrive about who the wrestler will be and one of the names mentioned is that of Dolph Ziggler, especially within wrestling.

Ziggler is considered unlikely to be the wrestler on Saturday night, though, as his WWE non-compete doesn't expire until late December, with Ziggler out for 90 days after being released by the company on September 21 as part of major post-UFC merger cuts. Ziggler would only be able to appear at Full Gear if WWE agreed to end his non-compete early, something they did for William Regal

Although Ziggler is unlikely to appear at Full Gear, that doesn't mean he won't eventually become All Elite. On Ziggler, Dave Meltzer has reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that "many expect him in AEW" at some point. Ziggler does have friends within the promotion and his own brother Ryan Nemeth is already signed to All Elite Wrestling.

Before any in-ring return, the Nemeth Bros are set to present the 'Hunkamania' comedy show on Friday, November 24 in Chicago, Illinois.
