Dolph Ziggler Wins WWE NXT Title

In the year 2022, Dolph Ziggler continues to win championships in WWE. 

NXT held their special 'Roadblock' event on Tuesday and Ziggler and Tommaso Ciampa challenged Bron Breakker for the NXT Title on the show. 

Ciampa looked to have the match won down the stretch as he set Breakker up for a Running Knee Strike but Ziggler's tag team partner Robert Roode pulled Breakker out of the ring. This provided the opening for Ziggler for deck Ciampa with a Superkick for the victory. 

With Ziggler's win, Bron Breakker's first reign as NXT Champion comes to an end at 63 days. He had been champion since January 4 when he defeated Tommaso Ciampa at New Year's Evil. 

The NXT Title is also just the latest championship Ziggler has won in WWE. He is a former World Heavyweight, United States, Intercontinental, SmackDown Tag Team, Raw Tag Team, and World Tag Team Champion. 

Ziggler has been ever-present on NXT since he returned to the brand in early February, interrupting a championship summit between Breakker and Santos Escobar.
